Rock Bands That Should Perform The Super Bowl Halftime Show

This Super Bowl sucks. As a Packer fan, I'm not watching. As a football fan I'm not watching Tom Brady as he is just the worst and ruins everything. Ok, that rant about the actual game is over, now let's move on to what really matters during the game. The commercials, the halftime show and the food.

I can watch the commercials on YouTube after. I will still eat and drink all day. But oh that halftime show. The Weeknd will be performing. No, I didn't spell it wrong. There is no "e" in the name.

Now, if we had a good, rock half-time show the NFL would suck me back in. First off, let's be honest here. You'll never see Slipknot or Slayer up on that stage. Bands like that will just never happen. But, there are still plenty of other good rock bands out there that could easily take that stage for us to enjoy and not "scare away" the other people.

There have been classic rock acts in the past like The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney but I think we can get somebody who has had a hit in the last decade.

So here are 9 bands/artists that could perform the Super Bowl halftime show and not put us to sleep.
