Did you know the Rock & Roll Mansion is haunted?  Heck, my grandma used to spin yarns about a spectral locomotive.

It's a perfectly spooky place to shoot a rock video.  Enter, St. October.  Their new track "Burn" was shot over a weekend where we locked them in the basement and said, "make something that looks cool".

St. October showed the resident ghosts in the basements a great time with their newest single.

The band says, "We wanted a place that fit the vibe of Blair Witch meets Resident Evil 7. With just a smidgen of The Evil Dead. Funnily enough, when we were down there taking band photos with Deviant Rebel Media back in the fall of 2025, we saw that this place would make the perfect spot for our video! What we left were memories, misplaced dust, fog-fluid residue, and enough fake blood to power a NEMESIS-type BioWeapon!"

What you see on the screen is a haunting good time with a stalker type Antagonist played by High Five Sinners very own Jake Mooney, chasing down his target in @Baileyy-Elizabeth in a Silent Hill like time loop, moving from room to room. Then she starts to see us spooks and poor actors, that is the band, before she finally has enough on the 3rd go and decides to torch the place! Right before striking the flint and being dragged back in!

Dustin Leibert (guitar, unclean vocals) said, "What you don't see in the video is the utter exhaustion on everybody's face in between shots! Funny enough, from the crew to the band, we were all sick as dogs by day 2 of filming, but pushed through to bring you this Disaster piece! which was filmed by Ben Schmidt & Julia Medina."

Lyrics for "Burn"

This will make or break you
The voices in your head
They work to enslave you too
Their hands are dipped in red

Haunted by the Torch
Hunted by the Church
Can not tell what is worse Ever burning

Fear is all that they know
The hounds are at your back
Hate spreads like a disease
They know not what I am

Embers to a flame
Curses on my name
Bounties to be claimed
I'll live on infamously

Light the match
(Burn)
Take it Back
(Burn)
Praise the gas
(Burn)
Liberate you
Flame to skin
(Burn)
Setting in
(Burn)
Burning end
(Burn)
Pyrophoric

This will make or break you
No time to understand
Judgement's placed upon you
You'll never stand a chance
Scorching Heresy
Fire is cleansing
Purifying lick of flame
Nothing left but ash

Anger all consuming
This witch hunts run it's course
You all point and stare
Just wait 'til it's your turn

Gallows beckoning
Cowards assembling
Coals devouring
My last stand a malediction

Light the match
(Burn)
Take it Back
(Burn)
Praise the gas
(Burn)
Liberate you
Flame to skin
(Burn)
Setting in
(Burn)
Burning end
(Burn)
Pyrophoric
