Every Friday at 6:00 p.m. you can host your own hour on I-Rock 93.5 with our "I-Host" presented by Analog Pizza and Arcade. 

You choose the playlist.  Then you come to the Rock & Roll Mansion and talk about the songs.  All you need to do is sign up here and then watch your email.

A Special Winning I-Host This Week

Back in January, Townsquare Media held a national contest with all of the company's rock stations for a full weekend trip to see Metallica in LA.  The prize included a flight, hotel, two tickets to both nights of shows, and $500 in spending cash.

There were a lot of people that tried to win the trip.  In fact, it was the biggest contest the Townsquare Media rock stations ever held.  At the end of all of it, there were 60,000 entries.

The winner could have come from anywhere.  Michigan.  Texas.  New Jersey.  But it didn't.  The 1 name that was picked from those 60,000 entries was Carl from right here in the Quad Cities.

To celebrate and let the Quad Cities be there with him...well, as much as they can be...Carl came to the Rock & Roll Mansion to I-Host before flying to LA.  And he built a playlist that he'll be experiencing.  As you can see below, Carl picked 2 songs in a row from each band playing on August 25 and August 27.

So while you weren't the 1 in 60,000 to take the prize, you can still enjoy an hour of awesome rock to get your weekend started.

This should also encourage you to play in our contests.  Carl was another in a growing list of national winners from the QC.  We've sent people to see Ghost/Volbeat in Texas, Five Finger Death Punch in Vegas, and Disturbed/Breaking Benjamin in Denver.  So maybe you can be next to win on I-Rock 93.5!
