Every Friday at 6:00 p.m. (unless we take a few weeks off for the MVF and a vacation...but now it's back!) you can host your own hour on I-Rock 93.5 with our "I-Host" presented by Analog Pizza and Arcade.

You choose the playlist.  Then you come to the Rock & Roll Mansion and talk about the songs.  All you need to do is sign up here and then watch your email.

Who are you?

My name is Cory Kelley and I reside in East Moline. I’m a 46-year-old husband and father of two. Have an amazing wife Keasha (who surprised me with this), son Brody, daughter Kody, and our two yellow Labs, Max & Cash. Proud dad, pizza guy, drummer, gear head, love anything with an engine or hands-on. And of course live shows!

Why do I love hard rock?

I without a doubt get my love of music from my parents and more specifically rock & roll from my dad and my brothers. In the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s there was no shortage of ear rock candy. While we listen to and don’t discriminate against any music, the hard rock community is a family like no other!

Who is your favorite band/artist?

The thing I love most about music is when it gives you goosebumps or makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Shinedown, for me, is the master at that. The first time I ever heard them was the summer of 2003 working on a project outside with my father when their debut single “Fly From The Inside” came on the air. I’ve been hooked ever since. Their sound is all their own and their message is simple. Spread love not hate. Tell the truth. Believe in yourself. We just saw them live in KC on Labor Day for the 11th time including a personal meet and greet for my wife and me with the drummer Barry. Super cool. As always on stage they never disappoint. In the words of another fan, I once read, “There is no good Shinedown or bad Shinedown, there is just Shinedown!”

What is the best concert you've ever seen?

By default, every SD show I’ve attended goes at the top of this list but I would have to say the most recent in Monticello, IA with my wife and both our kids. Outside that it would be impossible to choose. I’ve had the opportunity to see some absolutely amazing bands and shows and feel like I’m just getting started!!
