Thank you for joining us for another great year of live music in the Quad Cities.  As your concert leader, we are always working to bring the best shows to all the venues in town.  Now, it's time to relive all those shows.

You can read through all the 2025 concerts here, and you can also listen as we relive them on Friday (12/19) from 10-3pm, 12/22 from 6-11am, 12/24 from 3-8pm, and 12/26 from 7pm-12am.

Remember the ones you were at, and see what you missed in the Quad Cities 2025 Concert Year in Review.

January 10 - Zakk Sabbath, Zoso, The Iron Maidens

This was a great way to start the 2025 concert year.  A guitar legend shredding at The Rust Belt.  And looking back at 2025, having Zakk in town to play all those old Ozzy and Black Sabbath songs was perfect.  You can see all the pics from that show here.

January 31 - The Four Horsemen with Wonkzilla'z Zombie Experience

We started the year doing all the old-school!  And we'll do it again this year.  The old-school Metallica is back at The Rust Belt with The Four Horsemen.  Check it out here.

February 8 - Alborn, Discrepancies, Emperors & Angels

You remember this one?  Some of us kind of remember.  It was a fun night as we sold out the Redstone Room.  So let's do it again, this time at the University Club.  Join us for the I-Rock 93.5 Holiday Hangover!

February 21 - Josey Scott, Hed p.e., Adema, Flaw

A chilly night of nu-metal at The Rust Belt for I-Rock Cabin Fever.  All the bands were great that night, but it was Hed P.E. that really got the crowd fired up.  They always put on a fun high energy show and if...when...they come back to town make sure to check them out.

March 29 - High Five Sinners, The Forty Twos, Doppleganger, The Clark Colborn Band

One of my favorite pictures of the year.  Brotherly love.  Another great fun night at Rascal's Live with our friends!

May 3 - The Devil Wears Prada, ERRA, Kingdom of Giants, Acres

If you noticed, we had nothing in April.  It was just us resting up for the gauntlet that was May.  May and September are always the busiest concert months in town.  And this year started with a great one at the Capitol Theatre.  All four bands were great, and The Devil Wears Prada were cool to chat with before the show.  Good guys, good band!

May 10 - Asking Alexandria, From Ashes To New, Royale Lynn, What Lies Below

Right back at the Capitol Theatre for a stacked lineup.  My favorite from the night was FATN.  Asking Alexandria sounded great, but it was hard to see the singer's face, which took some of the emotion out for me.

May 17 - QC Rock Academy Summer Kickoff

Always one of my favorite events of the year.  Listening to the future of rock on a beautiful spring day to kick off summer.  FaceCarver was for sure a highlight, but all the kids of the QC Rock Academy free show put on great performances.

May 25 - The Pretty Reckless, Plush

I said it then, and I'll say it again now, yes, Taylor is amazing to watch.  But wow, can she sing.  The entire band is great, and she can control the audience with her looks, moves, and voice.  This wasn't the full concert of the year for me, but for a single band at a concert, this was the performance of the year.  There are plenty more pictures you can see from the night right here.

May 30 - Alborn, Left on Red, Riding with Killers

Another sold-out night with Alborn in the Quad Cities.  Also, super impressed with the opening bands on this show.  Since I've got you here...get your $16 tickets for Alborn, Versus Me, Discrepancies, and Mercury's Crown right here.  I-Rock 93.5 Holiday Hangover, January 24 at The University Club.

May 31 - Static X, GWAR, Dope, A Killer's Confession

We finished off the wild month of May with what some called the show of the year.  It was an epic night of rock at the Capitol Theatre.  I was happy with all the bands, and super impressed with what Static-X sounded like with Zero on the lead.

June 29 - Social Distortion

A night of old school punk rock at the Capitol Theatre was next with Social Distortion.  This was one of those nights watching and realizing how lucky we can be at times to get bands like this in town.  A good chance you won't ever see them again in the Quad Cities.  Time is b.

July 24 - The Union Underground, Spineshank, Adema, Sicksense

Not as old school, but old nu-metal was at The Rust Belt for a summer night of rock.  All four bands were great, including the non old nu band in Sicksense.

August 2 - Pop Evil, Lit, 3 Years Hollow and Alborn

Oh, I could say so much here about rock at the Mississippi Valley Fair.  And I have before by typing it and talking about it.  So I won't do it again.  Will we see "our rock" at the fair again?  Maybe.  But with how hard it is to book and then with the low attendance, it's getting less and less likely.  You can see the full lineup for the 2026 MVF here.

August 9 - Ice Nine Kills, Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, The Funeral Portrait

For many, this was the show of the year.  One thing that can't be denied...it was the hottest show of the year.  Pack 2000 people into a venue on a night of 99% humidity, and things will get toasty fast.  Other than the heat, it was a great night of music from start till finish!

August 22 and 23 - Imposter Music Fest

The biggest tribute fest in the Midwest was even bigger this year with two nights of the best tribute bands around.  Will it happen again in 2026?  Make sure you like us on Facebook to find out first.

September 10 - Jerry Cantrell

Another legend came to the Quad Cities this year.  Such a special night seeing Jerry Cantrell play his hits and the iconic Alice In Chains songs.

September 17 - Switchfoot

We were right back at the Capitol Theatre for Switchfoot.  Every concert was special in its own way, and this one, I could feel the fans being so connected to not only every song but every story and chat between the songs.  They might not be the biggest band in the world, but they have a very loyal following.

September 19 - Sleep Theory, Nevertel, Oxymorrons, Mourning Eve

November 7 - Blue October, James & The Cold Gun

Blue October had the crowd all in their feels again at The Rust Belt.  Again, while not the biggest band, a super loyal following of people who will always be there to enjoy the night.  Also, great opening set from James and The Cold Gun.  Could we see them again in 2026?  Find out first when you have the alerts turned on with the I-Rock 93.5 app.

November 15 - Stuff It & Scream with The Haunt, Velvet Chains, Dead Sugar

Thank you!  Once again, thank you so much for not only selling out Rascal's Live to rock with some bands you won't be seeing on that size stage again, but even more so for raising so much money and so many meals for the Quad Cities.  You are amazing.  Thank you!  Check out all the pictures from the night here.

November 29 - Death Angel, VIO-LENCE, Lions At The Gate, Misfire

Stupid snow.  Stupid winter.  I was really looking forward to this show, as I know many of you were.  But then, 12 inches of snow later, a lot of us didn't risk it.  For those who went, they said all the things we expected.  A night of metal greatness.

December 6 - Sevendust

We started the year in just the right way, and we ended the year in just the right way.  A special night with Sevendust, all acoustic at The Rust Belt.  Not just a show or a concert, an experience.  Look at all the pictures here.

Whether you made it to one or all of them, thank you for coming out to support live music.  What does 2026 have lined up for us?  Well, some we know, some we know but just can't tell you yet, some we are working on and hope happen, some we don't even know about yet.  But we promise you it's going to be another fun year, and we couldn't do it without you.

Thank you for rocking with your concert leader in the Quad Cities, I-Rock 93.5!
