Look How Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless Rocked The Rust Belt
The anticipation for this one was real. It's been a band we've been working on as a station for the last 5 years. I knew the Rust Belt was the perfect venue and just needed to find the right time.
While other times came close, once I saw the gap in shows between their AC/DC tour, I knew this was the one to make it all come together. And it did perfectly. Thank you for coming to the I-Rock Summer Rager with The Pretty Reckless and Plush.
We can remember forever with awesome pro pics below!
Plush
Plush definitely made some new fans at The Rust Belt. A great opening set that featured all of their songs, along with an excellent cover of Barracuda. Keep your eyes and ears on this band, cause they will just continue to grow!
The Pretty Reckless
Yes, all eyes are on Taylor when The Pretty Reckless are on stage. It's hard to take your eyes off as she commands the stage and has the audience in the palm of her hands from the opening note. But Mark, Ben, and Jamie are masterful musicians who brought the entire evening together.
From hits like "Take Me Down", "Only Love Can Save Me Now", and "Heaven Knows" to fan favorites like "Witches Burn" and "Going to Hell", it was an amazing performance from the band.
Plus, we were treated to something special on Sunday night. While it wasn't on the original setlist (which you can see here on Facebook), the band noticed somebody in the crowd wearing a Soundgarden shirt and decided to toss in "Loud Love".
Maybe it was a combo of the shirt and the cake we got her. Take a look at the cake that our friend Dani M. made (Picture 7 on the Insta post) because we found out that Taylor loves cake while doing the interview below.

The Pretty Reckless were fantastic. Taylor was one of the most spot-on singers I've ever seen live. It was such a perfect way to get summer started. Thank you for being there. And yes, we'll start working now to get them back in town at some point.
