The guys from Monroe are back with new music. Not only do they have a new song, a new video (below), and a new EP, but this is also their first release under their new label.
Who is Monroe?
Monroe is a Hard Rock band from Rockford Illinois. While Rockford is home, the Quad Cities is like a second home. Gavin Arnold (rhythm guitar and vocals), Josh Kennedy (drums), Logan Bell (bass guitar), and Dalton Seebruck (lead guitar) have rocked the QC on numerous occasions including awesome performances at the MVF Battle of the Bands, The Rust Belt opening for 3 Doors Down, Gypsy Highway, Stompbox Brewing and more.
New EP on the way.
Monroe has a new EP coming February 3 called "This is Rebirth". It will be their first release under Imagen Records.
Let it Burn.
The first single from the EP was produced by Shaun Foist of Breaking Benjamin, Barry Stock of Three Days Grace, Morgan Rose of Sevendust, and Jose Uriquiza of 3 Years Hollow.
Gavin says "Let it burn is a sneak peek of what’s to come in 2023!"
Check out the lyrics here and the video below.
Break me down again
Holding me within
I can’t find myself
Given this regret
I put you down
To live inside my head
Will I make it out
Will you understand
(Will you understand)
Maybe I’m still angry
Drag me through the dirt
You left it all behind and
Watched my world burn
Could’ve saved me
Maybe I am still hurt
So many times I have wondered
Nothing ever works
Let it burn
I thought I knew you but I’m always right
Never let me live
Never let me die
I see right through you behind those eyes
Broken hearted soul left behind
Take these memories
And burn what’s mine
(Burn whats mine)
When you’re done with me
Maybe I’m still angry
Drag me through the dirt
You left it all behind and
Watched my world burn
Could’ve saved me
Maybe I am still hurt
So many times I have wondered
Nothing ever works
Let it burn
(Let it burn)
You burned a hole inside of me
Let it burn
Maybe I’m still angry
Drag me through the dirt
You left it all behind and
Watched my world burn
Could’ve saved me
Maybe I am still hurt
So many times I have wondered
Nothing ever works
Let it burn
