Death Angel will be at the Capitol Theatre in Davenport, Iowa, on November 29, performing their entire Act III album from front to back in a celebration of its 35th anniversary.

Before they come to town with VIO-LENCE, Lions at the Gate, and Misfire, we were able to talk with singer Mark Osegueda about doing something for the first time in their storied career.

Death Angel has been thrashing the scene since the early '80s.  But playing this album front to back live is something they have never done before.  Mark said, "It's easier on me cause I'm the vocalist, but those guys have been working really hard in the studio."

When the tour was brought up, Mark said he was most hesitant about it, "When we go on the road and meet fans, a lot of them love that record and it brings them to a special place."  So he said he'd give it a shot "if Rob agrees".  So he put it on the bandmate, and then it was all moving forward.

Mark said Will (drums) and Damien (bass) were excited to do the full album.  He said that while Will has been with the band for 16 years, it's his favorite album from the band, and he's still a fan, so very excited to play it front to back.

Mark is still loving creating new music and being on stage.  They just released a new song, "Cult of the Used".  It's their second new song in 6 years.

"There is more coming as well.  It's all working its way up to another full-length.  But it's going to be a while before we release the full-length.  But more new Death Angel is coming." Mark told I-Rock 93.5.

We talked about a bunch more that you can check out in the video or the podcast below that.  And as you make it to the end, it was great to see him get excited about what my message was to the Quad Cities.  This is the show to burn off all those Thanksgiving calories.

Be sure to get your tickets to the show right here so we can all rock together on November 29 at the Capitol Theatre.
