Every Friday at 6:00 p.m. one of the members of the I-Rock Hard Unit gets to control the station.  They pick the music.  They host the hour.  We all get our weekend started.  Sometimes they pick songs and bands you know.  Sometimes they pick bands and songs that make you go "huh?".

Who are you?

My name is Dennis Vornkahl aka Big D.  I'm a 66-year-old rocker.  I've been married 39 years, have 2 sons Ross and Adam, drummer and bass player, and I am on guitar. We called ourselves Roadtrash.

Why do you love hard rock?

The first time I heard Blue Cheer on the radio, I was hooked.

What is your favorite band?

My favorite band is Black Sabbath.

What is the best concert you've ever seen?

The best concert I ever saw was Led Zeppelin on the Physical Graffiti tour.  They played 42 songs in a 4 hr show.
