Who are you?

I am Steven Blunke but everyone just calls me Blunke, I’m a 36-year-old husband and stepfather to two metal heads in training, and work at the QC’s premier vape shop, Uptown Vapors -I love fishing, heavy music, good shows, and hell, I love that we live in a legal state

Why do you love hard rock?

I love hard rock because it’s a home for everyone, you might have nobody and nowhere to go but the metal community is always ready to ring you in and make you feel like you belong.

Who is your favorite band?

This is ALWAYS such a hard question because there are so many variables that make us love certain bands, but I’d have to say Megadeth is my all-time favorite band, cryptic writings got me through some tough sh*t in life.

Best concert you've ever seen?

Easy, Big Day Off Fest 2001, the mark of the quad cities, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Papa Roach, Drowning Pool with Dave still at the helm, and the union underground? What a banger, as a 13-year-old kid it doesn’t get much better than that
