A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet.  And a city with a lewd-sounding name can still be a fantastic city to live in.  But it can also make you laugh at how it sounds.

Below you'll see the most lewd-sounding city names from all across the United States of America.

Estately Real Estate Searched And Found The Best

The website estately.com created a list and map of the most lewd-sounding names in America.  As they put it, they...

Placed our minds in the gutter and spent days looking over detailed maps and scrutinizing the names of all cities, towns, and unincorporated communities for anything that sounded even remotely sexual or perverse.

Estately only listed lewd-sounding city and town names.  They did not list things like parks.  If they did, for sure "Big Bone Lick State Park" in Kentucky would have made the list.

Well, Iowa has, Balltown, Beaverdale, Cumming, Fertile, Hard Scratch, Inwood, Manly, and Sac City Iowa.  From Balltown to Beaverdale...and there you go Iowa.

Woman needs to poop, outdoor

Estately had a list of dirty-sounding towns in Illinois.  Including Bone Gap, Breeds, Bush, Chicken Bristle, Chittyville, Diswood, Dongola, Ficklin, Honey Bend, Kumler, La Fox, Lick Creek, Love, and Shobonier Illinois.

Butt...in the end...there can only be one that takes the crown as the most lewd-sounding town in the Land of Lincoln.

In Macon County Illinois (right in the center of the state) is Boody, Illinois.

Boody, Illinois was named after Col William H Boody.  The 2010 census showed that Boody had 276 people.  But in 2020 that number was 232.  So the Boody is shrinking.

And in 1998 the "Boody Water Company" was founded.  Read it again.  Boody water.
