Did you know the oldest brewery that is still running in America was established in 1829?  D.G. Yuengling & Son established the brewery in Pottsville, Pennsylvania and it's still running today.

The east coast brewery is continuing to expand west.  Recently they added Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma taking the distribution up to 26 states.  And in February of 2025, it will be adding more as the beer becomes available in Illinois.

According to chicagobeer on Instagram starting in February of 2025 Yuengling will be available on draft.  Then in March or April you can expect to see packaged Yuengling in Illinois.

Beer drinkers rejoice.  You can now have America's oldest brew in Illinois.  And it will be nice and fresh for you...not ruined from the heat of your trunk after a long drive.  Enjoy!
