Celebrate 100 Episodes of Under The Influence with WonkZilla at Wake Brewing

Under The Influence with WonkZilla on I-Rock 93.5 is about to hit a milestone.  The 100th episode will soon be heard across the Quad Cities, and it's time to celebrate.

Join Wonkzilla on Saturday, February 21, starting at 7:00 p.m. at Wake Brewing in Rock Island for the special 100th episode party.  It will be your chance to listen to the show with Wonk, enjoy some special brews and food, and win tickets.  You can score tickets to Avatar, In Flames, or Lorna Shore.

Rising from the ashes of Miner Disturbance Radio came a character developed from being a fan of everything metal and monstrous horror films. WonkZilla brings an exciting, albeit loud-as-hell persona to the I-Rock 93.5 airwaves. Pulling inspiration from the legendary Wolf Man Jack, Twisted Sisters Dee Snider on House of Hair, and WWF Classic Heroes Macho Man Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior.

At Wake Brewing in Rock Island, join us on a quantum journey to find some of the most influential metal ever recorded, from the invasion of the 70s and the thrash of the 80s into the nu-metal 90s and metalcore 2000s.

The Live Listener Party will feature Riff Infused Brews at Wake Brewing, Justin's Tacos Food Truck, plus step up to the microphone and do your best WonkZilla Impersonation to win tickets to some of the killer upcoming spring concerts!  Can't scream like Wonk...that's ok, you can also just sign up at the party to win tickets too.
