This Awesome Quad Cities Artist is a Finalist in the Worldwide High Art Competition
The Quad Cities has once again helped one of its own get worldwide attention.
Jacob Schoenhaar is competing in the "High Art" worldwide competition. In February thousands of artists submitted their work to the High Art competition. Jacob (check him out on his Instagram page or at InkFueled.com) was one of them and he has now been voted by the public into the finals.
Before you check out his art for the finals below, check out some of his other work here that you already know, and possibly own. Jacob designed the I-Rock 93.5 Two Year Anniversary logo below.
Jacob also designed the posters for the 2 Year Anniversary party.
This one was my favorite.
And this one, cause he just wanted to keep creating for us.
And then one more.
So you can see, Jacob makes some awesome work. Now, he is a finalist in the "High Art" contest. The contest was created by The Natural Cannabis Company in 2014 as a crowd-sourcing solution to packaging design. From its humble beginnings, High Art has developed into an internationally-known art competition with thousands of entries annually from 140+ countries all over the world.
Artists create themed works for prize money and their work will be featured on the packaging, social media, at the High Art gallery in Santa Rosa, CA, and displayed at prestigious art events, in the United States and abroad.
This is the piece that got Jacob into the finals.
Now check out what Jacob has in store for the finals this year!
Good luck to Jacob! Check out all the High Art Finalists here.
