Our First Ever Celebrity Rock Star I-Host

Like always, Friday at 6pm is the time for our I-Host to choose their music and host their own hour. This week's host picked all his music but we'll host it together as our first celebrity I-Host takes over the station. Todd Whitener, former guitar player for Days of the New and Tantric and now playing guitar with his new band Blisskrieg, is taking over I-Rock 93.5.

Blisskrieg is the culmination of many 2020 stars aligning. Todd Whitener has joined back together Matt Taul and Jesse Vest (both also formerly of Days of the New and Tantric) along with Donald Carpenter (formerly of Submersed and Eye Empire) for a new musical creation that never would have taken place had it not been for the world as we know it being turned upside down in 2020.

Blisskrieg’s debut album, Remedy, will be available for purchase and streaming on all digital platforms on February 22, 2021. The band will make an announcement soon after that regarding physical copies of the record.
