May Is Concert Month on I-Rock 93.5!

There are typically two months a year that are the busiest for concerts in the Quad Cities.  One is September (maybe October) and the other is May.

Bands don't like to travel the Midwest in the cold winter, and summer is all about festivals.  So they typically pack everything in (at least for the Midwest) in May and just after summer and before the holidays.

We don't know what fall month will be a banger in 2025, but we know for sure May is going to rock in the Quad Cities.  And of course, we have tickets for all of them below, and will tell you when you can score tickets by listening to I-Rock 93.5.

So Many Shows Happening In The Quad Cities In May

Here is your May concert guide for the Quad Cities.  Use it to make your plans, and use it to remember when to listen (all the time) to win tickets.

May 3 - The Devil Wears Prada - Capitol Theatre

It's the first one in May, and all week leading up to the show (April 28-May 2), we've got your tickets.

May 7 - Seether - McGrath Amphitheatre

OK, this one isn't in the Quad Cities, but it's an amazing lineup at a cool venue, and we've got tickets for you from April 24 through May 6.

May 10 - Asking Alexandria - Capitol Theatre

May 10 is going to be a wild day.  First, we have the Beer Battle on the Belle that morning.  It's sold out, but you can still win tickets here.

Then, we get to rock with Asking Alexandria and our friends in From Ashes To New.  Listen April 30 through May 9 to score those.

May 17 - The QC Rock Academy Summer Kickoff

You can see the future of rock at Schwiebert Park in Rock Island.  Always a fun day to watch the bands while enjoying some sun, drinks, and food at the park.  This one, you don't have to win, cause this is a free show.

May 25 - The Pretty Reckless - The Rust Belt

I probably shouldn't play favorites...but I've been working on this one for a while.  And it's our Summer Rager aka Summer Hummer.  We'll get you into this one between May 12 and May 23...and maybe even more.

May 30 - Alborn - Rascals Live

The last week of concert month is stacked.  Another awesome night lined up at Rascals with Alborn, Left on Red and Riding With Killers.  Tickets for this one are pretty affordable, especially if you get them early.  But for those that wait, we will have some leading up to the show during the week of May 27.

May 31 - Static-X - Capitol Theatre

This one was announced a while ago...but it will be a great way to end concert month.  We'll hook you up starting May 19 and keep it going all the way till the show.
