St. Patrick's Day isn't for another couple of weeks.  I don't know about you, but I really don't want to wait that long to start celebrating.  Thankfully you can get your drink on early this weekend in Downtown DeWitt with the 6th annual Leprechaun Leap Wine and Beer Walk. This Saturday, March 5th, 2022 from 2pm-6pm,  this event showcases more than 20 local businesses by making each one a stop on the "leap" for you to enjoy a variety of wine and beer samples including drunken cherries and leprechaun trail mix among many others.

Each stop also represents a chance to get your ticket punched for entry into a drawing towards tons of great prizes.  Grab all of your friends and make sure to wear plenty of green because there will also be prizes awarded for best guy, best gal, and best group costumes!  The fun doesn't stop at 6 though.  Jorgie's Bar and Grill will be hosting live music with Harvest performing from 6:30-8:30 and "Getcha Some" karaoke with Chad at MJ's Tap from 6pm-Midnight.

Tickets for the Leprechaun Leap are just $17 and are available online here, or you can purchase locally at DeWitt businesses Emma Rae's Antiques and Uniques, Jorgie's Bar and Grill, MJ's Tap, and Snap Fitness.  You can also register the day of the event at the DeWitt Community Center (512 10th St. DeWitt).  Start your St. Patrick's festivities early and get Sham-Rocked in DeWitt this Saturday!
