People stealing stuff doesn't just happen in the immediate Quad Cities metro area. The DeWitt Police Department is looking for a couple of guys a theft happened at Theisen's Farm Home Store in DeWitt. The DeWitt Police posted photos of a vehicle and two men they say are of interest in the theft, and they need the public's help in identifying and finding these two men.

On Monday, a Facebook page called DeWitt put up a social media post about the DeWitt Iowa Police Department requesting assistance of the public in identifying two people of interest from a reported theft that happened at Theisen's Farm Home Store.

The official DeWitt Iowa Police Department Facebook page shared the post and said,

"Please call if you have information regarding this and or share this post. Thank You."

According to the post, the theft occurred at the DeWitt Theisen's location on July 23, 2021, between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The post does not say what was stolen, but two men, one wearing a hat and both wearing a mask, are persons of interest. Also pictured in the post is a white SUV and appears to be a Chevy Tahoe.

If anyone recognized the two men and/or the white SUV, or knows any information, they are encouraged to contact the DeWitt Police Department at 563-659-3145. Or those with information can also contact the Clinton County Crime Stoppers at 563-242-6595.

The DeWitt Police Department reminds people that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
