Shinedown Coming Back To Eastern Iowa This Summer

It's an announcement that many people in Eastern Iowa, Western Illinois, and Quad Cities have been waiting for. After an exciting and awesome first year of Tailgate N' Tallboys in Clinton, IA, many people are wondering how they could top this year's festival.

We know who is coming to Tailgate N' Tallboys in 2024.

The First Tailgate N' Tallboys In Iowa

From June 8th to June 10th, Riverview Park in Clinton, IA was home to thousands of fans attending the city's and state's first-ever Tailgate N' Tallboys festival.

Tailgate N' Tallboys brought in major country artists. Mitchell Tenpenny headlined Thursday night and had Gabby Barrett, Jackson Dean, and Cooper Alan leading up. Lainey Wilson was supposed to play, be she accepted the hosting position of this year's CMA Fest.

Tailgate N' Tallboys 2023 Was A Success No Matter How You Look At It

On Monday, I told you how the City of Clinton technically lost money in year one of Tailgate N' Tallboys. During a Regular Committee of the Whole meeting, Mayor Scott Maddasion went over the profit/loss sheet put together for the first year of Tailgate N' Tallboys.

Mayor Maddasion said in the meeting, "At the end of it, we sent $301,000 back to USA Concerts, and there’s $307,285 in the account that’s the city’s money. So, take $500,000 minus the $307,285 and that’s what you could call our deficit."

To be exact, the City of Clinton lost $192,715 which in comparison to how many businesses and the entire City of Clinton benefited from Taiglate N' Tallboys this year, they can put a 'W' in the win column.

Now, the City of Clinton and USA Concerts is looking forward to an exciting lineup for Taiglate N' Tallboys 2024 and plans to make upgrades after learning from the first year. Knowing the people in charge, next year's festival is going to get even better which sounds hard to do after an amazing first year.

Headliners For Taiglate N' Tallboys 2024 in Clinton

On Tuesday, Oct. 3, USA Concerts and the City of Clinton announced the headliners for Tailgate N' Tallboys 2024. The dates for next year's festival are June 6-8th.

• Headling day 1 of the 2024 Tailgate N' Tallboys music festival on Thursday, June 6th in Clinton will be:

• HEADLINER: Jelly Roll

Jelly Roll performed on the final day of the first-ever Tailgate N' Tallboys in Clinton in 2023.

• Headling day 2 of the 2024 Tailgate N' Tallboys music festival on Friday, June 7th in Clinton will be:

• HEADLINER: Bailey Zimmerman

• Headling day 3, and the final day of the 2024 Tailgate N' Tallboys  music festival on Saturday, June 8th in Clinton will be:
