New Eastern Iowa Music Festival Announces Replacement Act

Those excited to see one of the fastest-growing country artists in the industry performing at the first-ever Tailgate N' Tallboys in Clinton, IA this June is going to most likely be disappointed. Lainey Wilson, who was scheduled to perform on night one of the festival, will no longer be coming to Clinton. Officials had another superstar ready to fill her spot.

Lainey is out, and Gabby is in

In a social media post on Wednesday, officials from Tailgate N' Tallboys announced that Lainey Wilson will no longer be the direct support for night one of Clinton, IA's first-ever country music festival.

Even though the Heart Like A Truck singer won't be coming to Clinton, Gabby Barrett will be taking her spot on the main stage on Thursday, June 8th.

According to Clinton's Parks and Recreation Director Josh Eggers' own social media post, he said,

"What a great add with Gabby! Lainey will be missed obviously, but she got an opportunity she couldn’t pass up."

We aren't sure what opportunity for Lainey is yet, but we're proud of her and excited for Gabby Barrett to take her place.
