Question one – Who are you?
Mark "Khaotic" Kane, the Khaotic goes back to my on-air days in college at Central Missouri in Warrensburg where I was DJ for a public radio station that played jazz and NPR programming, but featured a blues show on Monday nights hosted by myself and Rob "Mangy Man" McAllister. I later used Khaotic in Guam while stationed there in the Navy and worked out in town at ISLA-61 on Saturday nights pretty much playing as much hard rock and metal as I desired. These days I continue my service as an Army civilian on the Rock Island Arsenal.

Question two – Why do you love hard rock?
Loved hard rock music for most of my life, but really became a "metal head" back in the 80s following the likes of Quiet Riot, Ratt, Twisted Sister, and the endless amount of hard rock and metal that came from that era.

Question three – Who is your favorite band/artist?
I've got to answer Y&T because they're a band I've stuck with since the 80s who have never changed their sound and have continued to put their heart and soul into every album and every performance. While they're mainly known for their hit "Summertime Girls" their followers know the depth of their music stretching back more than 45 years.

Question four – What is the best concert you’ve ever seen?
While I qualify Y&T as my favorite band and have seen them live, the best concert goes to Van Halen on their 5150 tour when I saw them with my brother in Kansas City at Kemper Arena in 1986. Nothing can beat the magic that was made with that album and how the stages of Van Halen and the Red Rocker were brought together for that tour.
