Your I-Host Emily Made The Long Drive To Rock The Quad Cities

Every Friday at 6:00 p.m. you can host your hour on I-Rock 93.5 with our "I-Host" presented by Analog Pizza and Arcade. 

You choose the playlist.  Then you come to the Rock & Roll Mansion and talk about the songs.  All you need to do is sign up here and then watch your email.  A lot of people are signed up but we'll get you in eventually!

Meet your I-Host for tonight who drove from somewhere in central Iowa.  Not really sure where...but it's west of Cedar Rapids so it was a long drive to get here.

Question one - Who are you?

- Emily from Iowa

Question two - Why do you love hard rock?

- I love hard rock because regardless of my mood, I can always find an artist or song to get me through the day. I love that feeling you get in your chest when you hear that good guitar riff or amazing drum solo.

Question three - Who is your favorite band/artist?

- Shinedown will forever be my favorite, but Sleep Theory and From Ashes to New are close contenders for that #1 spot.

Question four - What is the best concert you've ever seen?

- The best concert I’ve ever been to would have to be the Wage War, Nothing More, Sleep Theory, and Veil of Maya this year on May 4th at the Rust Belt. I got to hang with the guys from Nothing More and Sleep Theory before the show and them recognizing us in the crowd during the show, made it so much more special. It was an unreal experience thanks to I-Rock 93.5, that I will forever be grateful for!
