Niabi Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo--the annual celebration of “Merry not Scary” Halloween festivities--will run Oct. 29-30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Boo at the Zoo features trick-or-treating, decorated trails, and special Halloween Animal Enrichment projects. Visitors are encouraged to wear costumes.

Not only does the zoo feature these fun activities, but they are also hosting an art show where the animals paint!

We are thrilled to announce a special animal art event! Back by popular demand, we will hold a 2-day animal art show and sale that will also coincide with Boo-at-the-Zoo! The art show will be held on Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th (weather permitting) on zoo grounds in front of the gibbon habitat starting at 10am each day. For the final time this year, art painted by the animals will be available for purchase with ALL proceeds going back to our animal enrichment program--we hope you'll come on out and support the animals by going home with a unique art masterpiece.
