Two Davenport Residents Won A Total Of $80,000 From The Iowa Lottery
Two people who live in Davenport are feeling really lucky as they each won some pretty big prizes from the Iowa Lottery. These two Davenport residents won a combined $80,000 and we know the two places handing out the winning Iowa Lottery tickets in the Quad Cities.
First, let's start with the Davenport woman who won a $50,000 lottery prize.
Iowa Lottery officials announced that Christine Sanders won the second top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Explore Iowa" scratch game. Sanders purchased her winning ticket at Express Lane Gas & Food Mart, 1909 N. Harrison St. in Davenport, and claimed her prize Tuesday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.
Iowa Lottery officials say that Explore Iowa is a $5 scratch game and it features 10 top prizes of $50,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.87.
Players can enter non-winning Explore Iowa tickets into the lottery's Explore Iowa Play It Again® promotion from now through 9:59 a.m. on September 13. The other person is a Davenport man who has won a $30,000 lottery prize.
Iowa Lottery officials said that Mason Brower won the second top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Wild Cash Multiplier" scratch game. Brower purchased his winning ticket at W Mart, 1207 E. Locust St. in Davenport, and claimed his prize Tuesday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.
