Sam was supposed to be an I-Host back in mid-December.  But, after some issues came up, then Holiday, then some sickness we finally had schedules lined up.  For next week.  But, when this week's host had something come up, I quickly reached out to Sam to see if she was available.  And yes!  It worked out and now Sam is here to rock the QC.  You can host your own hour.  Sign up here and eventually, we'll get you in.

Who am I?
Samantha Avey of Bettendorf

Why do I love hard rock?
Because my mom raised me right!  Rock music has always been close to my heart.  Nothing is better than putting some rock music on and just rocking out, like nothing else matters!

Who is my favorite rock band/artist?
That's a tough one.  Shinedown will always make my favorite list, but Ice Nine Kills is a very close second.

What was my favorite concert I've been to?
That's another hard question!  Let's see,  I would have to say Avenged Sevenfold.  We saw them a few years back when they were at the Tax Slayer( back when it was called something else).  It was a blizzard and we still went and they played.  There wasn't many people there and out of all the times I've seen them live, they played the best set there.  That's probably because we braved the blizzard for it!

Song list:

  1. Shinedown- Sound of Madness
  2. Slipknot- Wait and Bleed
  3. Trivium- In Waves
  4. Ice Nine kills- Hip to Be Scared
  5. NIN- Closer
  6. Three days Grace- I Hate Everything About You
  7. Avenged Sevenfold- So Far Away
  8. Hollywood Undead- Undead
  9. Falling in Reverse- Popular Monster
  10. HIM- Vampire Heart
  11. Corey Taylor- Black Eyes Blue
  12. A Perfect Circle- Weak and Powerless
  13. Black Label Society- Stillborn

LOOK: Things from the year you were born that don't exist anymore

The iconic (and at times silly) toys, technologies, and electronics have been usurped since their grand entrance, either by advances in technology or breakthroughs in common sense. See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.
