Hi! Let's start with who I am. My name is Teri Brinkman Pray. Live in East Dav. I am 52 yrs young. Have one son, about to be 35, and he just had his first child. So I'm a new grandma! I have twin stepchildren. A son and daughter. He just had a daughter last year, his 1st too. So we have 2 babies new to the family!

I grew up in the west end of Dav. My parents still live down there. I'm proud to be a westender!

I love hard rock because of my older brother, Steve. When I was little, I would go into his room, and he would put on rock albums, and I would headbang. He loved it. When Diary of a Madman came out, I loved that album. We would listen to it over and over. I'd read the lyrics and learned the songs. I remember playing in my room, and Steve would call me into his room and put on Flying High Again and tell me to sing. And I would. Every word. He loved it. His friends loved it. I loved it. He always made sure I listened to rock. He died in 1989 at the age of 24 in a car accident. He was drunk. It's still a difficult album and song to listen to.

I'd say right now my favorite band is In This Moment. I had a really special experience with them, and esp Maria, and I just love her. And the whole band, their music, they're the whole package. But my favorite bands have fluctuated a lot over the decades.

Best concert: That's hard. I saw my 1st show in 1986. Still have the shirt! That's 40 yrs of concerts! ITM, NIN, MIW, INK, have had great moments with them all. But I'll have to say Nirvana. They passed through town and played at Palmer Auditorium. 6 months before he killed himself. I was such a huge fan. Had front row right in front of Kurt Cobain. Shh, secret, but we had dropped LSD. The concert was phenomenal. Mudhoney opened up. I've seen SO many great shows tho! Met some awesome bands. Got some stories. I loved all of it.
