Support Military Families with Music and a Dunk Tank at Dunkapalooza

What happens when you get a bunch of Quad Cities acoustic musicians in one spot at a bar with a dunk tank?  You get "Dunkapalooza".

July 10 at BeerTinis (3803 Rockingham Rd, Davenport, IA 52802) these musicians will get together to not only have a good time but also raise money for a good cause as all proceeds will benefit "Getting Heroes Home".

What will Dunkapalooza be supporting?

The event will have a 50/50 raffle and of course with a name like that, a dunk tank with all proceeds going to "Getting Heroes Home".  Getting Heroes Home is a registered non-profit organization out of Leclaire, Iowa that helps with emergency travel accommodations for military personnel to get home for holidays, special life events, or funerals. You can learn more about them and the work they are doing here. 

So about that dunk tank...

The whole idea of the dunk tank is simple. Hot months, an opportunity to raise a little more money for the organization, and a way to dunk your favorite, or least favorite, musicians.  Plus, I-Rock 93.5 Local Stage host Trevor at the Lever, that other guy from I-Rock 93.5, and more local celebrities.  Will the guys from I-Rock wear tight white shirts/pants for the dunk tank?  You'll just have to show up and find out.
