St. Patrick’s Day Parade Being Held At Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds
Even thought last year's St. Patty's Day didn't really happen (thanks 'rona), 2021 is already bringing better news. The 3rd annual St. Patrick's Day Bash at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds is happening, and new this year is St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Is it really a St. Patrick's Day celebration if there isn't a parade? This year, there definitely will be one!
On Saturday of the 3rd annual St. Patrick's Day Bash at the fairgrounds, for the first time ever, they will be having a St. Patrick's Day parade.
Line up for the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds first ever St. Patrick's Day parade will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 13th in the West High School parking lot, 3505 West Locust Street. According to fair officials, parade entries will be able to hand out beads, candy, etc. to those watching the parade.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and is free to watch. This year's St. Patty's Day Parade at the fairgrounds will be emceed by B100's Connor Kenney and JT. Parade entries will also be judged by "celebrity" judges, including Ryan from I-Rock 93.5.
The results will announced at 3:15 p.m. in the Fair Center immediately after the Sky Diving Leprechauns.
