Every Friday at 6:00 p.m., you can host your hour on I-Rock 93.5 with our "I-Host" presented by Mel's Pub in Milan.

You choose the playlist.  Then you come to the Rock & Roll Mansion and talk about the songs.  All you need to do is sign up here and then watch your email.  A lot of people are signed up, but we'll get you in eventually!

My name is Ben Carkhuff, and I am a music fanatic.

Hard Rock to me has the most dynamic range of emotions through the lyrics and the way the genre spills into so many other categories, whether it be metal, industrial, or just rock

My favorite band definitely changes by my mood and can range from Smashing Pumpkins to Static-X or Nine Inch Nails.

Two of the best concert weekends I've had were going to Lollapalooza and Warped Tour in 2008 and Rock on the Range in 2010. By far, those shows checked off the most bucket list bands.

My Playlist:

  1. Feuer Frei! - Rammstein
  2. Linchpin - Fear Factory
  3. Sleepwalking - Bring Me the Horizon
  4. Coming Undone - Korn
  5. You've Seen The Butcher - Deftones
  6. Red Stars - The Birthday Massacre
  7. Dead Souls - Nine Inch Nails
  8. Last Chance To Dance (Bad Friend) - A Day To Remember
  9. Sorry You're Not A Winner - Enter Shikari
  10. My Curse - Killswitch Engage
  11. Feels Like Forever - Of Mice And Men
  12. Driven - Sevendust
  13. Deliver Us - In Flames

Keep Looking At All The States I-Rock 93.5 Has Rocked

I-Rock 93.5 is the Quad Cities Hard Rock station. You made that happen by listening and downloading and liking and showing up to all our stuff. But you keep taking it one step further. You like to wear the I-Rock 93.5 shirt, or in some cases take the I-Rock 93.5 flag, with you when you travel. Which is awesome.
Now, we are on a mission to get a picture of our shirt/flag/koozie in every state.
Next time you travel take I-Rock 93.5 with you and then send us the picture on the I-Rock 93.5 app or on our Facebook page and we'll share it with the world to show how much you, and the Quad Cities rocks.

Wage War, Nothing More, Veil of Maya and Sleep Theory at The Rust Belt in East Moline

The rock was with us on May 4 at The Rust Belt in East Moline, Illinois. An awesome, high-energy show from start to finish with a big pit and a train of crowd surfers. Relive the night and definitely catch these bands again next time they are in town.
