Jeff Has His Old-School Metalhead Playlist Ready For You
Every Friday at 6:00 p.m., you can host your hour on I-Rock 93.5 with "I-Host 93.5" presented by The Pub in Milan.
You choose the playlist. Then you come to the Rock & Roll Mansion and talk about the songs. All you need to do is sign up here and then watch your email. For the love of all that is good and holy check your email. You know how many emails I send that never get answered.
A lot of people are signed up, but we'll get you in eventually.
Let's meet this week's I-Host, Jeff Wise.
I am a 53-year-old metalhead. My parents started me out with the older rock stuff and the blues. But when I found metal I was hooked. At 16, my dad took me to a Bob Seger concert, and live music was where it was at. I have been to hundreds of them since.
The best show would have been Soundgarden at Tommy's bar in Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas, or Bob Seger, because it was with my Dad.
My favorite bands would be Slayer and Pantera in that order, and I have seen both of them over 7 times. I have talked to you a couple of times at shows.
My Playlist:
- Slayer - Temptation
- Pantera - Hollow
- Nashville Pussy - Why Why Why
- Minor Threat - Guilty of Being White
- Sepultura - Arise
- Clutch -10001110101
- Suicidal Tendencies - Possessed To Skate
- Soundgarden - Jesus Christ Pose
- Black Sabbath - After Forever
- Exodus -Bonded By Blood
- Butthole Suffers - Cough Syrup
