Disney and ‘Role Models’ Child Star Sentenced To Jail In Iowa

A child star known for his roles in Disney TV shows and as one of the main characters of the movie Role Models received a jail sentence in the state of Iowa this week, where he'll spend around two and a half years behind bars.

30-year-old Bobbe J. Thompson was sentenced to 30 months behind bars with three years of supervised release after his time in.

You'll recognize him more from his time as a child actor in films like Role Models with Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott.

Thompson also was known as Stanley in Disney's That's So Raven.

In September of last year, Thompson was pulled over after being clocked traveling at 104mph in a 70mph zone.

During the stop, the officers found a loaded .40 caliber pistol that was reported stolen from a vehicle in the Kansas City area.

A federal grand jury indicted him in January, and he then ended up pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person in April.

He's also facing some pending prison time from some cases in Washington and Missouri, so this Iowa sentence will run consecutively with those sentences as well.
