It’s The New Year In July At Upcoming Fundraiser in Eastern Iowa

Get ready to ring in the New Year in July. It's not actually 2025, but it's a themed New Year's Eve party all to raise money to help people in our community. The Blue Grass Community Charitable Drop Off Presents: New Year’s Eve in July FUNdraiser Gala.

The event will be held at the graciously donated Blue Grass Community Center, 232 E. Orphed St., in Blue Grass, Iowa on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Dress up or come as you are and enjoy. Doors open at 4 pm with a Salad and Baked Potato Chili/Taco Bar courtesy of Blue Grass Savings Bank from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Don’t forget to help yourself to the delicious desserts!

To help raise money, there will be 50/50 Raffles, Item Raffles, Silent Auctions, Photo Booth Ops, and so much more.

Tickets are $15 in advance at Blessings Boutique's high-end resale store, 215 W. Mayne St., Blue Grass, Iowa, Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; Saturdays 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, (563) 579 -3124, on their Facebook page, or $18 night of the event.

All event tickets include two raffle tickets given at the door. Additional raffle tickets are given for non-perishable food items or nonfood items brought to this event to support animals and people in need. Doors will open free to the public at 6:30 pm if you wish to skip the dinner and purchase raffle tickets, bid on the silent auction items, or for a chance to win the 50/50. Raffles, Silent Auctions, and 50/50 will close at 7:30 pm.

Raising Money To Help Those In Need

Blue Grass Community Charitable Drop Off currently provides essential items to over 60 organizations that feed, clothe, and shelter, people and animals in need in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. The proceeds from Blessings Boutique benefit these same organizations. Blue Grass Community Charitable Drop Off is doing even more by hosting New Year’s Eve in July FUNdraiser Gala.

The proceeds raised from this event will benefit these same organizations as well as celebrate the many volunteers who make these organizations possible.
