A Look Back At The I-Rock Anniversary Party Photos
As we get ready to celebrate 7 Freakin' Years of Hard Rock in the Quad Cities, we take a look back at how we got here.
First, a reminder...7 Freakin' Years of Hard Rock. Thursday (8/20) at the Rust Belt with Eva Under Fire, Autumn Kings, Alborn, and Left on Red. Tickets are $9.35, but prices go up on the day of the show, so get them right here now.
As I was saying, how have we made it 7 years? Because of you. Thank you for rocking with us by listening, coming to events, coming to shows, following us on the socials, the app...you get the point. We're everywhere, and you're there with us.
The first year we didn't have a party. Well, we kind of did. But it was in the middle of Rona, so year 1 was just me in the parking lot of the Rock & Roll Mansion playing tunes and handing out prizes. We did what we could then!
Year two was the first time we had a concert. But we were young. It was a party at Riverview Roadhouse with Alborn, The Forty Twos and High Five Sinners. I didn't even have a photographer for that one. But here is the poster...maybe you still have one of the rare shirts!

Then in year 3 we decided to give it a name and (because of the rain from year 2) move it inside at The Rust Belt.
Keep scrolling down through all of these to check out the last 4 parties!

Year 4 was the first time we called it "Freakin". And it was going to be a one-time thing. Like the Four Freakin' sounded good together. I was planning on a different name each year.

But then when 5 came around, I realized it still worked with five freakin'...so we kept it going.

And then as the 6-year anniversary party approached, I realized...this is just the freakin' name of the thing.
