Watching "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" has been a constant in my life ever since I can remember. The tradition continued when I had kids. It's one of the most loved TV specials ever.
The Peanuts special started airing back in 1966 on CBS as a yearly special, but in later years it's been tougher to find in regular programming. Here's how you can watch this beloved special this year.
According to Parade.com you can stream It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on Apple TV+ or rent it on Vudu. Don't have access to either of those? Not to worry.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will air on PBS and PBS Kids on Sun., Oct. 24, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. ET. and as an added bonus the broadcast will be aired without ads.
PBS reps say the program will not be available on your station’s livestream on PBS.org or the PBS App. However, if you watch your local PBS station via YouTube TV, you will be able to stream it there.
The Halloween special is only 25 minutes long even though it seemed longer when we watched it as kids. Don't look for It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime. It's not there.
