Gooch Is Bringing People Together With His List Of I-Host Music

Every Friday at 6:00 p.m. you can rock your hour on I-Rock 93.5 with "I-Host 93.5" presented by The Pub in Milan.

You choose the playlist.  Then you come to the Rock & Roll Mansion and talk about the songs.  All you need to do is sign up here and then watch your email.  A lot of people are signed up but we'll get you in eventually.

Question one - Who are you? 

Most people just call me Gooch

Question two - Why do you love hard rock?

First of all, I love all music, it allows for freedom of expression. Music can describe feelings that you may not know how to express, and yet when that beat hits, you know they were feeling something similar when it was written. Music brings people together who wouldn't otherwise cross paths. Some of my longest-lasting friendships are through music!

Question three - Who is your favorite band/artist?

This is a hard question to answer, I listen to a LOT of music. I would have to say either Beartooth or Wage War.

Question four - What is the best concert you've ever seen?

I have 2 that I cannot choose between.

Nonpoint - Rust Belt Christmas show, (2 years ago?) Elias and Jasen both recognized me from my work previously with Nonpoint at a festival I worked at previously. I was invited to watch the show from the side of the state with my son, wife, and mother-in-law. Unbelievable experience that my son will never forget!

Korn - Carolina Rebellion 2013. It was right before this show my wife told me we were expecting our son. Plus, when we were walking around I was talking to a guy in dreadlocks who turned out to be Brian Welch.. had no idea, I wasn't a fan, yet. Later that night, I saw him come on stage and play Blind. Instantly became a fan of seeing them play live!
