A dream Wisconsin watering hole awaits anyone that can find it on this spectacular Wisconsin trail.

So many of this country's most beautiful hiking trails can be found just a few hours north in the Lake Superior region. Hundreds of small state parks surround the lake, many of them with beautiful hiking trails.

Since so many water ways make their way to the largest freshwater lake in the world through these parks, many of these trails are dotted with spectacular water features. Rapids, waterfalls, and cauldrons are just some of the natural waterways you'll see along these trails.

One of these parks is Amnicon State Falls Park just south of Superior Wisconsin, the western most point of Lake Superior. The park surrounds the Amnicon River as it feeds into Lake Superior and offers some spectacular views.

There's some history in the park as well. It is home to one of the oldest covered wooden bridges in the state of Wisconsin. A perfect place for some Instagram pics.

And here's the big picture you came to see. The 15-foot plunge into a swimming pool along an active water fall. This is a little higher than the diving board at the public pool. Would you have the guts to take the plunge? Amnicon Falls is just a few hours north of Rockford if you'd like to give it a try.
