Black Label Society Tour Cancelled Minutes After Being Announced
Black Label Society, Obituary and Lord Dying announced a North American tour today (Oct. 1) before immediately cancelling it. The bizarre instance of take-backsies occurred just minutes after the 15-day tour was revealed.
The initial tour was part of Black Label Society’s North American Crusade, running from Dec. 6 in Santa Ana, Calif. to Dec. 21 in Moncton, New Brunswick. The tour’s cancellation wasn’t announced by Black Label or Obituary, but by Lord Dying:
UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to unforeseen sudden circumstances beyond our control, this tour is no longer happening.
HEY CANADA! See you in DECEMBER!
TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY! 10AM LOCAL TIME.
Tickets would have gone on sale Friday, Oct. 4, so no refunds will need to be issued. There’s currently no word on if these dates will be rescheduled. [via Metal Insider]
Loudwire has reached out to Black Label Society’s reps about the cancelled tour, but they have yet to respond. Black Label are currently headlining a North American tour with the Black Dahlia Murder and Alien Weaponry.
