Here Is How Your Favorite Local Band Can Rock The Main Stage at the 2023 Mississippi Valley Fair
The 2023 Mississippi Valley Fair is going to rock. We already know that Limp Bizkit is going to headline one of the seven nights. And with two open nights, who knows...maybe we'll have another rockin night.
If you want your favorite local band to be up on that big stage this year in front of thousands of people, here is your chance as MH Entertainment and the Mississippi Valley Fair present the 2023 Battle of the Bands.
The tradition started in 2021 with Alborn winning
The first battle of the bands took place in one day with a dozen bands ranging from country to rock taking the stage. At the end of the day, there could be only one. But it took a bit longer to get to that one.
Alborn and Been There Done That tied for first place. But, after a one-song play-off, Alborn would take the victory and open for Shinedown on the big stage.
In 2022 Eugene Levy took the crown and the stage.
The following year the competition would be split into two days. One for country and one for rock.
It was a Muscatine weekend with Monica Austin taking the country crown and Eugene Levy playing their way to the title on the rock side of things.
How can you compete in the 2023 Battle of the Bands?
On March 25th the Mississippi Valley Fair and MH Entertainment will once again host the Battle of the Bands. And once again, it will be a free concert.
If you want your favorite local band to be a part of the battle you need to nominate them and then vote for them here.
How will the battle work this year?
