A Downsized 2020 Mississippi Valley Fair Will Still Take Place
With 35 days to go before the Mississippi Valley Fair is scheduled to open the doors, officials have announced the fair will take place August 4-9, 2020.
Shawn Loter, General Manager of the MVF, made the announcement on the fairs Facebook page. Loter has said that the fair "will be downsized" this year with no national acts performing in the grandstand.
The lineup grandstand lineup included LoCash, Keith Urban, Shinedown, Old Dominion, Pitbull and Craig Morgan. (Shinedown had previously canceled their entire tour including the stop in the Quad Cities)
Fun card ticket refund plan will be announced by July 1st.
The fair has worked with the Health Department in order to be sure safe social distancing guidelines are in effect.
Fairs across the Midwest canceled including the Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin State Fairs.
Expect more information on the fair changes, plans to follow health department guidelines and tickets in the coming days.
