Very Hot Weather Returns To Quad Cities Starting On Monday
We've only had a few hot days so far this summer but the heat will return to the area next week. If you have a pool or know someone with a pool, you'll want to be jumping in there starting on Monday when temperatures begin to reach into the 90s. You might also want to make sure your air conditioning is working before the hot weather gets here.
It's going to be a scorcher in the Quad Cities starting on Monday. It's summertime in the Quad Cities area and the weather will definitely reflect next week.
According to the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities, we are going to see the heat starting on Monday. The heat is expected to build across the Quad Cities and the surrounding area next week.
National Weather Service officials say that right now, it looks like Tuesday and Wednesday could be the hottest days. Highs for Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be in the mid-90s to near 100°. Heat indices are also expected to be over 100°.
Make sure you check on loved ones next week when it gets hot, especially the elderly and those without air conditioning. You should also be drinking plenty of water and limiting your time outdoors.
