UPS is Hiring More Than 100,000 New Employees for the Holidays

Now's the time to get in your application to earn a little of your own extra holiday cash. The company plans to move many to permanent roles after the holidays.

UPS is starting to get ready for the holiday season by going on a hiring frenzy. The time between Halloween and Christmas is already crazy busy for package handling. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many are not wanting to go shopping in person, so there will be a lot more shipping of packages.

The more than 100,000 UPS jobs are both full-time and part-time seasonal jobs. Most of these jobs include:

• Package handlers
• Drivers
• Driver helpers
• Personal vehicle drivers

According to UPS's Chief Human Resources Officer, Charlene Thomas,

“a large number will move into permanent roles after the holidays.”
