You can rent a pool in the QCA or you can put your pool up for rental in the website Swimply.

On Swimply, you can rent pools by the hour. The listings provide the pool's depth, size, if it's kid-friendly, chlorinated, and more. Here's the one you can rent in Coal Valley:

It seems like a good idea if you're not a fan of public pools or if you have a poolside event in mind but no pool. The rentals are not cheap though, the Coal Valley one is about $35/hour and the other one is $60/hour.

Speaking of the other one, this is it, the "Relaxation Baycation". You'll find it in Long Grove, IA. It has a maximum of 50 guests.

With everything being so expensive this year (looking at you gasoline), maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to list your pool for rent on Swimply this summer. You can change the rates change based on a weekday rental vs. a weekend rental and owners can add fees for additional guests. You have the option to allow or not allow things like pets, alcohol, and you can provide a description on what the pool and vibe is like.

If you're thinking you want to host, you can learn more about becoming a Swimply host here.

Meanwhile, if renting a Swimply pool is definitely not in your budget, there are plenty of public pools and splash pads in the QC to enjoy! Just be sure to stay quite literally cool this summer!
