A Quad Cities Favorite Mexican and Breakfast Restaurant Is Opening New Location

If you want tacos and margaritas but somebody else in the family is craving pancakes and eggs what do you do?  Stop at one place and then go to another.  Seems inconvenient.  For many in the Quad Cities, they simply go to D'Lua.

And now, more of the Quad Cities will be able to have chips and salsa with a side of bacon as this fusion restaurant is expanding to a third location.

D'Lua Fusion Cuisine Pancake, Burritos, and Tequila

D'Lua is a family-owned business that at first glance might seem like an odd combo.  Tacos, pancakes, tequila.  Together?  But it's actually great for all three and more.

The current location in Bettendorf has a 4.5 on Yelp with reviewers raving about the chips and salsa.  It also gets good reviews on the service which you know can be tough these days.  This location is currently open Mon-Sat 8:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The D'Lua in Moline is a breakfast/lunch destination with their hours being 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday-Sunday.

The kid can devour a stack of cookie pancakes while mom and dad enjoy the chips and salsa.

And of course, enjoy the drinks as well.  As you can see they have very large margaritas.

While people can drive from one end of the Quad Cities to the other easily if craving something, it's nice when it's close and convenient.  And now it will be for more of the QC.

The new D'Lua will be opening in Davenport at 1201 East River Drive.

You might be thinking, "that sounds familiar.  Has that been a restaurant before?"  Yes.  Many times.

It's also been "The Boat House", "Bare Bones BBQ", and "Waterbar".  And possibly more.  But that was all I could find.

So clearly the location is a challenge.  Hopefully, D'Lua can have success there the way they have in the other locations.

When will the new D'Lua be opening?

Nothing official has been posted from D'Lua so the date is still TBD.

But, with D'Lua growing they are looking to hire.
