The New QC Fuel in Bettendorf is Ready to Help You Recharge

A new QC Fuel is now open in Bettendorf right across from Bettendorf High School.

It's at 2505 Maplecrest Rd. It has tables inside and outside, a drive-thru, and all-around touchscreen ordering-both inside and outside. More on that in a second.

QC Fuel offers lattes, espresso drinks, blended cremes (which don't have caffeine, so kid-friendly), protein shakes, energy drinks, and more. I also spotted a little shelf of snacks when I was there.

Here's how the touchscreen ordering goes at the new QC Fuel location: it's the same thing in the drive-thru as it is inside. You start out selecting exactly what you want-lattes & espressos, energy drinks, etc. Then you narrow it down to flavors and any add-ons you might want. If you want something specific, like having it over ice, then mention that to the barista. The baristas working when I stopped by were super nice.

Bettendorf High students, this is almost literally in your backyard. QC Fuel has rewards you can sign up for to help you towards a free drink. They'll just need your phone number for that.

I tried the medium house brew over ice with a shot of Irish Creme. They have a 100% guarantee so they asked if I would try it before I left just to make sure it's good. Can confirm it was in fact yummy.

The QC Fuel hours are:

• Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
• Saturday 7:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
• Sunday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
