Julie Is Taking The Quad Cities On A Journey Of The Last 6 Months Of Concerts
Every Friday at 6:00 pm you can host your own hour on I-Rock 93.5. You choose the playlist. Then you come to the Rock & Roll Mansion and talk about the songs. All you need to do is sign up here and then watch your email.
Who are you?
So, I’m Julie, and I could challenge in any competition for the oldest diehard I-Rock listener.
Why do you love hard rock?
I’m sure one reason I love hard rock is that, until 4 years ago, we’ve been completely denied such in the QCA! And ‘cause pop music sucks, and even country is pop these days!!
Who is your favorite band?
My favorite band is often the last band I saw live. So…Nothing More!! Shinedown, too.
The best show you've seen?
I’ve seen too many in my many years to remember (think short-term memory problems!) but now, for a venue, RED ROCKS WAS SO COOL!!
My playlist:
- Sevendust - Hurt (Live)
- Nonpoint - What a Day
- Skillet - Awake and Alive
- Theory of a Dead Man - Medicate
- Saint Asonia - I Don't Care Anymore
- Corey Taylor and Apocalyptica - I'm Not Jesus
- Avatar - Smells Like a Freakshow
- Fozzy - I Still Burn
- Nothing More - Go to War
- Trivium - The Heart From Your Hate
- Beartooth - The Past is Dead
- In This Moment - Sex Metal Barbie
- Motionless - Voices
Trivium & Beartooth at The Rust Belt in East Moline
Trivium, Beartooth, Malevolence and Archetypes Collide rocked the Rust Belt on June 2 and now you can clearly see what it looked like through the sweat and pits.
Avatar at The Rust Belt in East Moline
Avatar sounded amazing and the visuals took the show over the top. Check out the pictures from Orbit Culture, Veil of Maya, and Avatar here.
