How The School State Rank Was Determined
The Wallethub study used different stats to rank the states from best to worst. The main factors included overall quality and safety.
Things like Dropout Rate were factored in. And Wisconsin scored really well. 3rd lowest in the country!
Wisconsin schools also finished in the top 5 of Math test scores and SAT scores. And nowhere did Wisconsin end up at the bottom of any other factors like reading test scores, ACT scores, Pupil-Teacher Ratio, and bullying.
Where Does Wisconsin Rank For Best School Systems?
Wisconsin isn't number one in the country...but still pretty good overall and the best in the Midwest.
Number 1 is Massachusetts. Followed by Connecticut at 2. Maryland at 3 and New Jersey ranked 4th best in the country. But what if you don't want to live in the northeast? What if you want to live in the Midwest and still go to a state with a good school system? Where do you go?
Yes, Wisconsin welcomes you to enjoy the 5th best school system in the country. The only other Midwest states in the top 10 are Nebraska at 7 and North Dakota at 10.
