It's hard to believe it's been a little over 3 weeks since the apartment building The Davenport partially collapsed in downtown Davenport. Former residents of the apartment building still need help and several local coffee shops are coming together to do just that.

On June 20th, 10 different coffee shops in the Quad Cities area will be donating a portion of their sales to help those still feeling the effects of that horrific event.

The simple and easy way for you to be an extremely helpful neighbor is to do one thing: buy coffee from one of these participating coffee shops. Whether it's your normal/favorite coffee shop or not, try to get your daily cup of joe at one of these places to help those in need.

Coffee & Community: The Perfect Blend

On Tuesday, June 20th, 10 local coffee shops around Clinton, Milan, Davenport, Muscatine, Rock Island, Bettendorf, and Moline will be donating 25% of all proceeds that day will be donated to support the victims of the apartment building, The Davenport, that partially collapsed on Sunday, May 28th.

Davenport Apartment Building Partially Collapses

On Sunday, May 28th, around 5 p.m., first responders received a call 9-1-1 call about a partially collapsed building in downtown Davenport. The apartment building at 324 Main Street called The Davenport partially collapsed killing three people.
