I am Lee Stone. I work as a paper delivery person for the Dispatch Argus out of East Moline and I ran a karaoke business for four years. I went to the Illinois School for Broadcasting where I did get some air time on the school’s radio station. I’ve never been on air at an actual radio station but to sit in a booth for you guys is a dream come true.

Hard Rock has always spoken to me. To me Hard Rock isn’t just music, it’s an entire lifestyle. From the moment I heard Metallica as a teen I’ve never loved any genre of music more.

The band I’ve always had a deep connection with has been Disturbed. From the Sickness to Hold on to the Memories their music has always touched my life. To me there is no band that can connect on so many levels with people like Disturbed can.

I saw Aerosmith and Monster Magnet at The New World Music Theater in Tinley Park IL. I was blown away by both bands and the stage show Aerosmith put on was absolutely amazing.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
