How You Can Attend Muscatine's OktoBrewFest This Weekend For Free

With the fall season basically here and the month of October right around the corner, many people are preparing their livers for some solid beer drinking. This Saturday, Muscatine is hosting its annual Pear City OktoBrewFest and we have your chance to go for free!

If you're an avid beer drinker and love a good time, you're going to want to head to Muscatine this Saturday. The Pear City OktoBrewFest is this Saturday at Muscatine's River Side Park.

OktoBrewFest kicks off this Saturday for general admission tickets at 1 p.m. There is a VIP event that happens from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The last pour for everyone on Sunday is 4 p.m.

Multiple events will be going on during OktoBrewFest. The first event at noon this Saturday is the Tapping of the Golden Keg to open up OktoBrewFest 2022. Live music from Barefoot Becky happens from 12-2 p.m., and Frankie Joe & Kinfolk will take the stage from 2-4 p.m.

Other events include the Beer Stein competition at 1:15 p.m. to test your beer arm muscles, the Chicken Dance at 1:30 p.m., the Brat Eating contest at 2 p.m., the Yodeling contest that starts at 2:30 p.m., and the final event of OktoBrewFest is the Beer Belly competition beginning at 3 p.m. this Saturday.

OktoBrewFest is a 21+ event and is presented by Keep Muscatine Beautiful. All proceeds from this event are used to help build the permanent amphitheater along the riverfront. More details can be found on their website and OktoBrewFest's Facebook page.
