Hollywood Undead hail from, not surprisingly, the streets of Hollywood, California.  With their mix of hip-hop, rock, and minor metalcore touches the band initially became popular with exposure on MySpace, the group started as the musical project of J-Dog and Tha Producer in June 2005.

With their pseudonyms and hockey goal tender-inspired masks, the band debuted in 2008 with Swan Songs but didn't hit their commercial stride until the release of their 2011 sophomore effort, American Tragedy, which cracked the Top Ten on the Billboard 200 chart. Subsequent outings like Notes from the Underground (2013), Five (2017), the two-volume New Empire (2020), and Hotel Kalifornia, performed just as well, if not better, cementing the group's reputation as one of rapcore's leading lights.

Now nearly 20 years and 8 albums later Hollywood Undead continue to deliver their sound in their way.

No stranger to The Rust Belt Tech N9ne is coming back.  The last few shows of Tech at The Belt were one-off shows.  He wasn't on tour, just wanted to come to the Quad Cities as he loves it here.  Now, Tech is heading on tour with Hollywood Undead and making another stop in East Moline.

Tech’s multi-faceted skillset has not gone unrecognized by artists of all genres, exemplified by collaborations with such diverse artists as The Doors, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Eminem, and Boyz II Men, to name just a few. Everyone from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to Elton John has been spotted bumping Tech N9ne records.
